1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Your email address and name when you register or sign in with Google.
• Usage data: How many exports you have made (JPG and MP4), your current plan (Free, Credits, or Pro), and your credit balance.
• Session tokens: A secure token stored in your browser to keep you logged in.
• Your default settings: If you use the "Save My Defaults" feature, we store your preferred tool settings (colors, fonts, layout) against your account so they sync across devices.
• Your custom logo: If you are a Pro user and upload a custom logo, we store it against your account so it loads on any device.

We do not collect or store the photos, videos, or content you use to create your collages. All canvas rendering happens in your browser. Only the final exported file is processed on our server during MP4 video export, and it is automatically deleted within 10 minutes of download.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and keep you logged in.
• To enforce export limits for free accounts and credit balances for credit accounts.
• To sync your settings and logo across your devices (if you use those features).
• To respond to support requests sent via email or WhatsApp.
• To maintain admin logs when account plans or credits are changed (for payment reconciliation).

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (railway.app), a US-based cloud infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). Session tokens are cryptographically random and expire after 30 days (or 2 hours for admin-initiated support sessions).

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our database immediately.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services to operate Snaptoria:

• Railway (railway.app): Hosts our backend server and database.
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name and email from Google only — no other Google data.
• Google Fonts: Loads fonts (DM Sans, Oswald) for the interface. Google may log the font request IP address per their standard CDN logging.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Snaptoria uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to store your session token and saved preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your device except when explicitly sent to our server as part of an API request. You can clear this data at any time by clicking "Clear Cache" in the tool settings, or by clearing your browser data.

7. Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us.
• Correction: You can update your name or email by contacting us.
• Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from within the tool. This permanently and immediately removes all data associated with your account from our database.
• Portability: Contact us if you need a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy

Snaptoria is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify active users of significant changes by displaying a notice in the tool. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
